Hi! My name is Reena. I am excited to be the Montessori Lead Teacher at Angel Wings Montessori. I’m thrilled to be part of Angel Wings Montessori, where my values align with their holistic approach to education.
My Montessori Journey
My journey into early childhood education began with a career in physiotherapy, where I developed a deep appreciation for the physical and emotional development of children. While caring for my first child, I naturally began looking after the children of friends and neighbors. This experience sparked a profound interest in early learning and inspired me to open my own day home, which I successfully ran for four years.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a Montessori teacher at several exceptional preschools and daycares. These experiences have allowed me to witness the incredible growth and individuality of each child. I believe every child has a unique way of learning and a distinct set of strengths waiting to be discovered. My teaching philosophy centers on nurturing this individuality through a balanced approach—combining structured activities with child-led exploration.Teaching is not just my profession—it’s my passion.
About Me
Outside the classroom, I’m an avid nature lover. I enjoy camping, hiking, nature walks, and birdwatching—activities that help me stay grounded and inspired. I also have a creative side and love expressing myself through music, dancing, and drawing. I live with my wonderful husband, and together we’re raising two energetic and curious boys who keep life joyful and full of adventure. And yes, a good cup of coffee is my favorite way to start—and end—the day.
